For Configuring PPPOE connection on your Wireless routers please follow the following Wizard.

Connect your Router to your computer with a Cable provided by Wireless router vendor to LAN Port 1.

Disable proxy connections option for your Browser and then follow the wizard.

1. Use your browser to get inside the config of your router
For planet routers default http://192.168.0.1
(other wireless routers please refer to the manual provided by the vendor )

2. Put your username and password to get in the config of your wirless router
(default username and password for PLANET Routers
admin/admin )




3. After you enter inside your wirless router you see the below picture

4. Click on General Setup, After clicking general setup you a new screen appears as following




5. Select option WAN, In this screen Select option for PPPoE option and click on More configuration







6. After you select the option for PPPoE and more configuration following screen appears where you can provide your username password and service name, please put the MTU as default, donot change anything.

7. For the connection type if you are a home user please select connection on demand, if you are a corporate or Enterprise user please selection Continuous in connection type.


8. If you would require you capacity not used all the time please mention a time limit if your connection is idle.


For example Idle time disconnect in 10 mins
Donot change TTL values.

9. Click Apply


Your router now will get rebooted and connects to the PPPoE service automatically by authenticating your username and password, you can logout from the configuration and then click onto your browser you will be getting your internet access.
